This month JAMA published a perspective co-authored by 4 distinguished experts in public health. The research continues to recommend vaccinations and should end the non medical doctor, non scientist, trial lawyer Secretary of Health's attacks on vaccines.

Overall Conclusion: Vaccines remain the most effective intervention for reducing disease, hospitalization, and death associated with COVID-19, RSV and INFLUENZA

COVID-19
Review of 155 publications
• Vaccines in all adults 18 years and older associated with a 19.5% - 55% reduction in COVID-19 related hospitalization when compared to unvaccinated or those without current vaccine
• Maternal vaccination – 60% reduction in COVID-19 related encounters during pregnancy
• Maternal vaccination in any trimester – associated with reduction in COVID-19 related hospital contacts
• 50%-54% reduction in infants during first two months after birth
INFLUENZA
Review of 69 publications
• Vaccines in older adults associated with a reduced influenza related hospitalization by 19%-43%
• Reduced mortality in older adults, by 30%-65.8%
• Infants & Children: reduced risk of hospitalization by 28%-67%
• Vaccines during pregnancy: reduced risk by 44.4%
RSV
Review of 75 eligible studies
• Adults 60 and over: vaccine lowered risk of RSV hospitalizations
• Maternal vaccination: reduced risk of infant RSV related hospitalization with efficacy of 51%-790
• Safety data for RSV: 0 cases of Gullain Barr Syndrome; 0 elevated risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes reported
