October 2026 Visa Bulletin: Employment-Based Dates for Filing 📅

The new fiscal year is here, and USCIS is accepting the Dates for Filing chart for employment-based green card applications (Form I-485) this October. If your priority date is earlier than the date listed for your category and country, you may be able to file your adjustment of status now.

Key highlights:
✅ EB-1 is Current for all countries except China and India (01 Jul 2024)
✅ EB-2 Rest of World advances to 15 Mar 2026
✅ EB-3 Rest of World is at 01 Aug 2024
✅ EB-5 set-aside categories remain Current for everyone

Remember: filing early does not mean approval is immediate. Your case still needs your priority date to be current under the Final Action Dates chart before a green card can be issued.
