‼️SCAM ALERT‼️
We've heard from our friends at the Arnold MO Police Department that scammers are calling residents from a number that appears to be the main line at the Sheriff's Office (636-797-5000). The scammers are claiming the people they're calling are in trouble. and will be arrested if they don't get things squared away ASAP. And it always involves paying some sort of money.
We've heard all kinds of bogus stories, including owing court fees, outstanding traffic tickets, missed court dates, or warrants for your arrest.
These are all NONSENSE. We don't call and threaten to arrest you or solicit payment over the phone, by gift card, bitcoin, or any other way.
Don't fall for this. And please, help spread the word.

Any citizen who is of modest means (currently 250% of poverty level, but expected to temporarily rise to 400%) can obtain free answers to the multitude of questions that are arising.

ABA Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal advice clinic for qualifying users to post civil legal questions at no cost. Lawyers can provide information and basic legal advice without any expectation of long-term representation.

• Option 1: Provide a Missouri issued Driver or Non-Driver license, U.S. Passport, or Military ID
• Option 2: Provide a secondary form of identification, such as a paycheck or bank statement and sign a statement confirming their identity
• Option 3: If the voter has no form of identification, but is a registered voter, they may cast a provisional ballot

Missouri’s photo voter ID law also requires the state of Missouri to assist voters who might not have a photo ID with the process of obtaining one free Missouri non-driver license for the purpose of voting.
