St. Martin & Bourque is proud to continue supporting the Close Up Foundation programs at our local Terrebonne Parish high schools!
The Close Up program gives students the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where they can experience our nation’s history, government, and democracy firsthand.
We were honored to present our 2026 contributions to the teachers who help make this experience possible for their students:
• Jane Falgout – Vandebilt Catholic High School
• Archie Adams – South Terrebonne High School
• Justin Ward – H.L. Bourgeois High School
• Gilbert Marcel – Terrebonne High School
• Linzy Foret – Ellender Memorial High School (not pictured)
We are grateful for the dedication of these educators and proud to invest in opportunities that inspire and educate the next generation of leaders in our community!

On April 17, 2026, a vessel struck a 54-inch sewage main in New Orleans' Industrial Canal — sending millions of gallons of raw sewage flowing into the waterway that feeds directly into Lake Pontchartrain. The Seabrook boat launch was shut down. Fishing, boating, and swimming were banned. And the damage to your livelihood? That didn't stop when the leak did.

If you fish, crab, or shrimp these waters and lost income, lost catch, or were forced off the water — you may be entitled to compensation.

🗓️ CLAIMS DEADLINE: OCTOBER 14TH
Time is running out. Don't wait.
