Almost 2 years ago I was privileged to follow a strong lady’s journey dealing with cancer. I’ve forgotten her name but her powerful and inspirational approach to her battle touched me deeply. She was a business associate in the Legalshield business as I was as well. I found out in April of this year that I have intermediate prostate cancer. It’s very treatable and I chose radiation/hormone therapy to kill it. I have 2 more treatments to complete. 5 treatments total. My treatments are being done at Duke hospital in Durham NC. I feel ok…..a little tired sometimes from the hormone injection that removes all of my testosterone. Still the radiation oncologist highly suggests I lift weights and workout to build up my testosterone naturally. I’m doing that. I’ll know in about 3/4 months how effective the treatments were. The technology is so precise now that I 100% believe I made the best decision to defect the cancer. More updates to follow.
