Meredith is a wife, mom, stepmom, 2 time cancer survivor, lover of Alabama football, and fierce advocate. Since graduating from the Birmingham School of Law in December 2009 she has practiced in the Domestic Relations and Family Law field for 14 years before joining Wheeles & Garmon in 2024. Meredith has spent countless hours representing clients in various areas of family law and brings that vast
knowledge to her work at Wheeles & Garmon. Before becoming a lawyer, Meredith was a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Special Education, both from the University of Alabama. She has a background in the forensic interviewing of children. She is also a Guardian ad Litem and has represented many children to be a voice for their best interest during court cases. Meredith currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama and as an Advocacy Ambassador for the Susan G Komen Center for Public Policy. She also frequently takes her advocacy efforts to Washington DC to educate our members of Congress on the needs of those experiencing certain cancer diagnoses.
