She comes by it naturally, as she is the granddaughter of Dower Realty, Inc. founders, Frank and Betty Dower, whose legacy of integrity, service, and strong client relationships continues to shape the company today.

Kat’s professional career began in the Dower office in 2004 at just 20 years old, serving as the firm’s Office Manager. In 2013, she earned her Real Estate Salesperson license and transitioned into property management. Kat became Broker-in-Charge in 2017, working closely with former Principal Broker and her aunt, Debra Malia, who retired in 2021.

Professionally, Kat is a member of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®, the Hawaii Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of Residential Property Managers. She is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.

Outside of real estate, Kat brings the same dedication and discipline to her personal interests. She is a competitive bikini bodybuilder and an avid baker who enjoys creating treats for family and friends. Most importantly, she cherishes spending quality time with her son, Kain (born 2011), who keeps her active and inspired.

Kat is always striving to maintain the perfect balance between professionalism and the personal, “ohana-style” relationships for which Dower Realty, Inc. is so well known, proudly continuing the family legacy.

She also spent several years cruising the Eastern, Central and South Pacific with her husband Bob aboard the 40 foot sailboat “Mistress”, before returning home to Hawaii. “Hawaii No Ka Oi”! After joining Dower Realty, Inc. in 2004 she was our Office Manager before becoming a Property Manager.
