The Helms Law Firm is proud to announce the selection of its attorneys as Super Lawyers!

Jeff Helms has been selected to the 2026 Super Lawyers list for the nineteenth year in a row, first receiving the honor in 2007. This is an exclusive list, recognizing only the top 5% of attorneys in each state.

Casey Gray has been selected to 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for her second year in a row, an honor limited to just 2.5% of attorneys in the state who demonstrate exceptional professional achievement early in their careers.

Super Lawyers selections are determined through a rigorous, multi-phase process that includes peer nominations, independent research, and evaluations of professional accomplishments, verdicts and settlements, leadership, and reputation among fellow attorneys.

We are deeply honored by this recognition, but even more grateful for the work that led to it, fighting for the victims of nursing home negligence and medical malpractice.

Just FYI, people are starting to get payments from FEMA for their damages! We’ve seen a few payments ranging from $2000 to $6000:) Just FYI for those who were still skeptical. Our office is getting ready for trial and can’t be available much anymore, but if you’ll be patient and hold on the phone for 30 mins to an hour, you will get help and answers. I’m glad we (Becky Griffis) could be of help where we were able!

In the wake of Hurricane Helena's devastating impact on our area, we want to inform you that our law firm will be closed this week due to the extensive damage and power outages across our community.

Our office, like much of the city, is currently without power and has limited services. We are unable to consistently access emails or receive phone calls at this time.

Despite these challenges, our team is committed to helping our community recover in any way we can.

We understand that many of you are facing significant hardships in the aftermath of Hurricane Helena. While our physical office is closed, we are still a part of this resilient community and are ready to offer guidance or assistance where possible, given the current limitations.

We will update this page as soon as we have more information about when we can resume normal operations. In the meantime, please stay safe, take care of one another, and know that we stand with you during this difficult time.
