In response to a recent post on the NACDL in the Defending S*x Crimes Community, I responded to a New York Times Article that is highlighting this issue across the country.
I said as follows:
We are having a lot of these cases in South Florida, in particular Delray Beach.
We have used multiple ways of tying these social media vigilantes to the police.
I have written a few blogs on this and would be happy to help or collaborate with anyone on this matter.
I saw the post by Jacqueline Goodman who I've attempted to contact to discuss.
The last I heard is that she has quite a few of these cases in her office and is probably the most knowledgeable on these mattters.
