🚨 **IMMIGRANT VISA INTERVIEWS PAUSED WORLDWIDE — WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR CASE?**

The State Department has announced a temporary worldwide pause affecting immigrant visa interviews while consular officers undergo additional training related to public charge determinations.

In this video, Immigration Attorney Robert M. Bell explains what this means depending on where you are in the process — including:

• Applicants waiting outside the United States for an interview
• Individuals in the U.S. with an approved waiver who may be preparing to depart for consular processing
• Applicants who were already interviewed and affected by the restrictions involving the 75 countries
• What applicants should be doing while the pause remains in effect

⚠️ **If you have an approved waiver and are currently in the United States, watch this video BEFORE making plans to leave for your immigrant visa interview.**

This situation is developing, and there is currently uncertainty regarding how long the pause will remain in place.

📲 **Follow for immigration updates as they happen.**

🚨IMMIGRATION UPDATE: 75-COUNTRY VISA BAN STRUCK DOWN!

This is BIG news but don’t rush to schedule your interview just yet.⚠️

Mr. Bell explains what this new court decision means and what we recommend depending on where you are in the process.

✅ Already interviewed and denied because of this policy? Your case may need to be revisited based on the new ruling.

⏳ Haven’t interviewed yet? Our advice is to WAIT while we see whether the government appeals and how this decision plays out. The courts have 60 days to appeal the decison.

We are closely monitoring this and will post another update when we have clearer guidance on the next steps.

Can You Travel Outside the U.S. with an Expired Passport? 🌎✈️

Attorney Robert M. Bell explains what you should know before making travel plans. It’s best not to travel with an expired passport. But if travel is unavoidable, your options depend on your immigration status.

Some common options include:

✔️ Pending Form I-751? Your receipt notice automatically extends your permanent resident status for **4 years**, which may allow you to travel with your expired Green Card.

✔️ Filed Form I-90? Your receipt notice provides an automatic 2-year extension** of your Green Card while your application is pending.

✔️ If your Green Card has been expired for more than 2 years**, these extension options are often a better alternative than the time, expense, and hassle of obtaining a **boarding foil** or seeking a one-time travel document from your country’s consulate.

Every situation is unique, so speak with an experienced immigration attorney before making international travel plans.
