Security isn't one camera, one guard, or one lock. It is a system.
Negligent security cases can involve property layout, access controls, lighting, prior incidents, staffing, policies, and the measures in place before a criminal act occurred. Florida law also requires a fact-specific analysis of responsibility when third-party criminal conduct causes injury.
The useful question is not whether a property could prevent every crime. It is what risks were reasonably foreseeable and what precautions were actually in place.
