If there’s one rule I’d consider getting tattooed on my arm, it’s this: if you’re not calling your clients, someone else is. It is almost guaranteed that if you aren't the one maintaining that connection, a competitor will step in to fill the gap. There is nothing more frustrating than thinking you had a solid listing or buyer, only to see them close a deal on the MLS with another agent while you’re left wondering what went wrong. ⁠

The harsh truth is that when you lose a deal like that, it’s usually because you weren’t involved in the follow-up process. Without a disciplined system for prospecting and lead generation, you simply won’t reach the appointments or transactions you need to grow your business. ⁠

I cannot stress the importance of this enough, I might even need to get T-shirts or posters made for the office just to keep us focused on this reality every single day. Success in this industry isn't just about the first meeting; it’s about who stays in the game until the closing table.⁠
