The Township of Irvington, New Jersey Planning Board has unanimously adopted the municipality's first updated master plan in over a decade. This document was prepared by Phillips Preiss in collaboration with Township staff and consultants and provides recommendations for zoning modifications and investments to promote economic development, pedestrian safety, sustainability and streetscape improvements.

We are honored to share that Somerset County, NJ has recognized our project team (FHI Studio + Phillips Preiss) with the “Excellence in Planning” award for their work on the development of a community-driven 10-year economic, land-use, and multi-modal vision for Downtown Raritan.

This project was initiated under the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) Planning for Emerging Centers Program, whose goal is to advance and at the local level that benefits northern New Jersey’s economy, environment, and quality of life.
