We had a wonderful Lunch N Learn yesterday with Ashley Rechsteiner from the Environmental Health Bureau. She brought tons of great information about private wells and water safety! Our sponsor was Karen Messer of Greenstone Farm Credit Services, who provided a splendid lunch with tons to eat and Girl Scout Cookies for dessert. We really appreciate our wonderful sponsors! Thanks Ashley and Karen!

The Hillsdale County Board of REALTORS had the good fortune to host Sally Clark, Annette Sands and Vicki Morris of the Economic Development Partnership at this week's Lunch N Learn, sponsored by Lori Lemon and Jenny Leininger of County National Bank.

The Economic Development Partnership of Hillsdale County (EDP) had the pleasure of presenting information about the Hillsdale County Housing Study, a countywide effort to provide clear, reliable data on what housing we have today and what we need next. This is especially important because many local employers are already feeling the impact of housing shortages when recruiting and retaining workers, and our communities need up-to-date information to plan for the future.

If you would like to learn more about the Housing Study, please feel free to reach out to the EDP or if you’d like to join our Housing Study meetings, we would be happy to send you a meeting invitation. Contact Sally Clark – [email protected] or Annette Sands [email protected]

There's still room for a few more to sign up. Contact the Board Office for information. 517-439-1770 or [email protected].

Hillsdale County Board of REALTORS did a photo op with Randi Brandt, Region 6 Liaison with the REALTORS Relief Foundation. Tjay Fitton, Board president, presented Randi with a check for $2,420 raised in the 2025 Board Christmas Party charity fundraiser event. Created within hours of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, REALTORS® Relief Foundation efforts have been assisting communities impacted by disasters for over 20 years. Natural disasters can be devastating in so many ways; not only do they damage homes and property, but they can also cause loss of life and completely unravel families. For those fortunate to escape with no injuries, the only options are often to totally rebuild a home or salvage what’s left. For over 20 years, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation has been there to assist victims of natural disaster and to provide hope when people think there is none. Through tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, wildfires and more, RRF helps families rebuild their homes and rebuild their lives. 100% of donated funds go the the victims of disasters.
