What makes Rodier Law different?

We don’t just throw anybody with debt into bankruptcy. We have many ideas and plans that can avoid bankruptcy and provide relief and a future plan for success. We believe that the future path directs your future. Bankruptcy may eliminate debt but without really changing the past patterns and sticking to a future plan, many people filing bankruptcy get back in the same situation sometimes within months.

Considering the low fees charged by Rodier Law Offices, you can take advantage of getting fast and efficient services for less. Although you will pay for services, you may save a lot of money on settlement because of your attorney’s skill and experience. Having counsel navigate the language in the settlement may save you a lot of money instead of signing an agreement with traps that can cost you more if not done right. Your attorney can also help draft the right language to protect you in case of default. It is important to invest in yourself to have a path for a better and more prosperous future.

What do we guarantee?

We do not nor will we ever guarantee an outcome or a result. The only thing we will guarantee you is that we will do our best to help you within the scope of our agreed representation. We keep communication open and encourage your participation and involvement.

Why do you NOT want to represent yourself?

There is a famous saying- “A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client”. Even lawyers get lawyers to represent them. Our firm has represented many lawyers and when we need legal services, we retain counsel as well.
For a layman, the complications of the law, surprise motions and discovery can make it very difficult to overcome if you are not well prepared. Many mistakes cannot be corrected. Emotions and personal connection to the outcome may divert clear and logical thinking and assessment.
In settling a matter, the written language in the settlement agreement or court document to be filed must be carefully crafted and reviewed. One word can change the whole meaning of the agreement.

Why is it important to have legal counsel?

Under the Civil Rules of Procedure, you must file an answer to the complaint (lawsuit) and it must in accordance to the regulations set forth in the rules. Additionally, you must assert your affirmative defenses. Failure to properly assert the defenses may prohibit you from asserting them later. It is important to have legal counsel guide you and make sure that you are following the law so you can protect your rights.
When settling a case, it is important that your lawyer assess the claims, strategize by determining the evidence of the opposing side and provide the research required and needed to meet your objectives and goals. It is important for your attorney to show strength and use his/her experience to navigate the law and negotiate a strong resolution. An attorney has the education, skill and experience that may bring you much greater success.
