Our office has received 2 different
“Notice of Claim” unemployment forms from the Alabama Department of Labor.
These forms are to verify employment in order to receive unemployment benefits.

2 of these locals, which attempted to file unemployment benefits using Richardson Legal Center as their place of employment, are not and have never been employed with us.

Businesses, please be on the lookout for fraudulent unemployment claims in the mail; and if you receive one please report it immediately.

Unemployment compensation fraud is a
Class B felony with 2-20 years in prison.
