This week, I finally got back in the courtroom, a two-day summary jury trial in the Bronx for a client with a 10 year-old car accident case. She was patient all these years, always grateful for my hard work and never frustrated by the passage of time and delay to justice. End result, 6-figure verdict and this text from her. This is why I do what I do.

I am extremely proud to report that Thursday I obtained a verdict in favor of my client in Westchester County, a venue so notoriously pro-defendant that it has become known as "Death-chester", in a hotly contested left-turn collision case. We litigated it for the past two years, while the carrier consistently claimed that the crash was my client's fault, even though she was going straight and the defendant was making the left. You see the defendant claimed to have a green arrow and tried to show that my client jumped the red. In the end, the unanimous jury found 100% in our favor. The case was settled by the following morning, and justice was served. I can't say how happy I am for this client who put her faith in me and my firm. It's why I do what I do.

I'm proud to say I just obtained a favorable verdict in NY County Supreme Court for a client of mine who was injured in a car accident back in November 2014. I will not name the client to protect his/her privacy and will not say the amount of the verdict so as not to sensationalize it. The insurance company, a very popular and reputable one, only offered $10K before trial and upped the offer to $20K while the jury was deliberating, but we rejected the offer. We were nervous that we'd made a mistake as the jury deliberated into the late afternoon, until the verdict came down just shy of 5:00 p.m. In the end, we were both pleased with the outcome and satisfied that the jury did the right thing. I was happy for this client and pleased that I'd gotten him/her the justice s/he deserved.
