This is going to be BIG.

There are moments in life that change your whole future, this feels like one of those defining moments.

Today I'm grateful, excited and proud to announce the official launch of Carolina Luxury Brokers, a new, independent real estate brokerage. I am honored to be partners with ➕ and thankful for the encouragement for us to take this leap!

A few other things that I'm grateful for (promise I'll keep it brief):

I remember going with my parents to walk around homes that were under construction...pretty sure that is called trespassing...but back in the 90s it was our Sunday afternoon activity. Perhaps my love of real estate 🏡 started then, and I'm grateful that my parents lived "on the wild side".

My husband for encouraging me to get my North Carolina real estate license back in 2020. I'm also grateful that our babysitter stuck with us after my husband accidentally backed into her car 🚘 (whoops) on my first day of course study.

My wonderful clients who simply reaffirm my love ♥️ for what I am lucky to call a career!

And lastly the numerous friends in my life who cheer, encourage, support and inspire.

Cheers to new beginnings! I also would not be a true real estate broker if I didn't also add "and I'm forever grateful for your referrals". 🙃

I do not excel at taking photos…especially photos of myself. So I was left with 📸 cutting my head off or looking like this was a pregnancy announcement…which spoiler it is NOT!

It is, however, a BIG career announcement for me. I am very excited and thankful to be joining Asheville Luxury Brokers!! The core of my work ethic revolves around providing my clients the highest standard of care and professionalism. I am grateful to be joining a small, boutique brokerage that models my same ideals.

I have had an amazing three years with Keller Williams in Hendersonville and have absolutely nothing but positive remarks about their brand. But when Asheville Luxury Brokers approached me it simply felt right.

I look forward to helping many other clients find their dream 🏡 in this beautiful place that I’m so lucky to call home!

We did a thing…

In the past two years we have lost two beloved parents and realized that time is our most precious gift. We wanted to find a way to spend quality time together in a place that friends and family could gather and make memories together.

Back in October I sent John a listing for a small cabin/cottage in Lake Lure. He wanted to go see it THAT day, but I was busy helping “actual” clients 😆…so I told him if it was still on the market we would go see it mid-week. Well long story short it was still on the market, it was love at first sight (for both of us) and we put in an offer that afternoon.

Today was our first day in our new getaway ❤️. While John was getting ingredients together to make chili I looked at him and simply said “I’m so happy”.

From the moment that I met the Eddys I knew I wanted to work with them! One of the first things I noticed in their home was a digital picture frame 🖼 flashing photo after photo of smiling faces. The Eddys decided it was time to head West and be closer to family and live life with those smiling faces 😊. I was determined to help get them there as fast as possible and it was my absolute pleasure to work with them!

Real estate will always be in the headlines and people will always be curious about current market conditions. I enjoy being asked about the local real estate market in Henderson County and Hendersonville, NC, but always support my outlook of what’s happening with data.

The current numbers from June 2022 show that inventory is even lower this year then it was in 2021. Inventory levels for Henderson County, NC are 1.4 months (June 2022) compared to 1.9 months (June 2021) and Hendersonville, NC inventory is 1.4 months (June 2022) compared to 1.8 months (June 2021). What does that mean? Well to keep it brief it means that it is still very much a seller’s market. A balanced market between buyers and sellers would be 6 months of inventory. Some buyers may still face multiple offer scenarios or find the need to wait longer to find the perfect home. The Mountains are still calling and Western North Carolina is a great place to call home!

“I saw the sign” 🎶…literally was driving by the office and pulled over. Thankful for everyone who has supported me over the past (almost) 2 years. It was a jump to go from pharmaceutical sales ➡️ full time parent ➡️ full time real estate broker…but sometimes taking a leap of faith is all you need! **And a lot of work 😂 and learning 📚 and 🍷!

The M-L family was ready to make the move from ☀️ California to Hendersonville, they had a deadline and we needed to find them the perfect home for their sweet family of four. After a few virtual showings their ideal home came on the market. We were the second showing and quickly wrote a competitive offer that won out over multiple other offers. I didn’t meet the whole family until after closing and move-in 🛻, but we quickly became friends and have enjoyed many laughs and 🍻at various spots around town!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the M-L family and helping them find their ideal home! It’s also a huge bonus to have made some great new friends in the process!
