Friday morning is our second Love Letters seminar - this time in South Asheville at the darling Baabal’s ice cream shoppe in Fletcher. We will drink coffee by a cozy fire and talk about the good stuff.

We had such a great morning talking about the little people we love and how we show it to them. We may have cried.

I’m rarely blunt. I’m much more diplomatic, usually. But today I’m going to be blunt: If you and your spouse don’t make it home from your Valentine dinner, who is going to raise your children? If you haven’t made this choice (and legally documented it), then a judge who doesn’t know you or your family will look at your life on paper and decide for you.

Even worse, what have you left unsaid to your children?
