As lawyers, we usually focus on defending the interests of our clients. At the beginning of our careers, we first take an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law. While it is rare to be called to do the latter, it is no less important.

In this critical moment of continuing attacks on the Constitution and our nation’s institutions, our firm stands with and in support of those law firms that have been targeted by the current administration for doing nothing more than ethically advocating for their clients. Hone Law has handled litigation for and against government bodies and government personnel. Having done so, the reality of this situation hits close to home. We are committed to the right of constitutionally protected advocacy and legal representation regardless of political affiliation. If we remain silent or fail to stay the course, our democracy will be silenced.
