Why am I always dancing and smiling after officiating a wedding? Because I just helped two people say “I do,” made it through the ceremony without crying too much, and successfully filed another love story into the books! 💃🏽❤️

“Are you sure?” is one thing you should never say to an engaged couple. Getting engaged is an exciting and deeply personal decision, and that question can make their joyful moment feel judged or doubted.

Unless they have asked for your honest advice or expressed serious concerns, celebrate their happiness by saying, “Congratulations! I’m so happy for you both!”
