After more than 10 years of fighting, we won his Lawful Permanent Residency! 🇺🇸
After unsuccessful attempts with several attorneys and multiple setbacks, this client came to our firm in 2015 looking for a solution to a complicated immigration case. More than a decade later, he leaves as a Lawful Permanent Resident and part of the Brill & Medina family.
We fought to reopen his case. We appeared at hearing after hearing. We dealt with COVID closures, court delays, USCIS delays, changing policies, and all the obstacles that come with a case that spans more than a decade.
But during all those years, life happened too. We saw him through life's ups and downs.
That is something people don't always understand about immigration law. When you represent someone for this long, you don't just know their immigration history. You know their family, you know their struggles, and you walk with them through life's twists and turns while figuring out how each one affects the case.
Our clients let us into their lives—the good, the bad, and the ugly. And somewhere along the way, they become family.
After so many years together, there was also trust. We could be frank with him—even when it meant telling him something he didn't want to hear. And he listened because he knew we would always be honest with him and that we genuinely cared about getting him to the finish line.
We fought hard...for years! And even after his residency was approved, the green card never came. So we fought for that too!
Today, after more than 25 years in the United States and 11 years with our firm, the fight is finally over.
We finally get to see him with his green card in his hands ❤️🇺🇸
And we couldn't be happier for him!
