IN MEMORY OF PAT SAUCIER 🤍🕊

At DMLF, we recently lost someone who helped shape not only our firm, but the lives of those who worked beside her. Angela shared these words about longtime office manager and dear friend, Pat Evans Saucier:

When I had only been practicing law for a short time, another attorney and I hired a secretary to share between us. She was older and wiser than we were, and before long she became full time with me. Over the next 17+ years, Pat Evans Saucier became so much more than an employee.

She was smart, funny, fiercely loyal, and was never intimidated by anyone. She loved me like her own daughter, and together we built not only the processes of the firm, but the heart of the practice itself. Eventually she became my office manager, but more importantly, she became one of my dearest friends, someone I trusted completely and could not imagine practicing law without.

Several years ago she retired and moved north to be closer to family, and I have missed her ever since. Recently she passed away, leaving a hole that cannot be filled.

I will forever be grateful for the impact she had on my life, my career, and the countless people she helped along the way. My clients loved her. I loved her. She was truly "good people", and I will carry her memory with me always.
