Have you received an urgent-looking "Final Notice" in the mail about your home warranty or property records lately?

These are flooding mailboxes right now. They often include a fake check or look like an official government document to trick you into calling a "processing center."

These are almost always scams designed to sell you overpriced service contracts or steal your data. Before you call any number on a mailer, check with me first. I can verify if a notice is a legitimate requirement for your property or just more recycling.

Here is my favorite "Make Room" tip for a seamless transition into spring and summer:

🧺 Don’t just clean, reclaim your square footage. 🧥 The Coat Closet Purge: If you haven't touched that heavy parka in three months, it doesn’t need to live in your entryway. Move winter gear to bins in the basement or attic to make your foyer feel twice as large.

🟣 Lighten the Layers: Swap out those chunky wool throws and velvet pillows for linen or cotton. It physically creates more "visual room" and makes the house feel airy.

🟣 Clear the "Landing Zones": Spring and summer bring more "stuff" pool bags, sports gear, gardening tools. Clear off your counters and mudroom benches now so you have a designated spot for the summer fun to land.

💡 Why it matters for Real Estate: Buyers buy space, not your stuff. When you "make room" by clearing out the winter weight, you’re showing off the actual footprint of your home. A house that breathes is a house that sells!
