As temperatures rise across Pennsylvania, so does outdoor dining and alcohol service.

Many servers focus on what’s happening inside the establishment, but guests on patios, decks, beer gardens, and outdoor seating areas require the same level of monitoring.

Remember:

✅ Heat can intensify alcohol’s effects

✅ Dehydration can increase impairment

✅ Encourage guests to drink water

✅ Food helps slow alcohol absorption

✅ Continue monitoring guests until they safely leave the premises

A few extra minutes of observation can help prevent an impaired driving incident and protect your liquor license.
