Tip Thursday
If the roof is a red flag, the foundation is the entire warning system.
Structural issues are the scariest words in real estate β but knowledge is power.
Inspectors look for:
π΄ Cracks in the foundation (not all are equal β hairline vs. horizontal are very different)
π΄ Uneven or sloping floors
π΄ Doors and windows that don't close properly
π΄ Gaps between walls and ceilings
π΄ Signs of water intrusion in the basement or crawl space
Structural repairs can be costly. You need to know what you're dealing with.
π‘ Randy's Tip: If the home inspector flags structural concerns, ALWAYS bring in a structural engineer for a second opinion before proceeding.
