I-64 Construction: Responsible for More than Just Hampton Roads Traffic.

When traveling throughout the Hampton Roads area, avoiding I-64 is nearly impossible; and for over a year, construction has taken place from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. According to VDOT, last year Virginia had 2,523 construction zone accidents. Hampton Roads leads this statistic with approximately 31% of all statewide accidents occurring in our area. Unfortunately, the number of work zone crashes increases annually.

Do not hesitate to explore your options if you are injured through no fault of your own because you may be able to receive monetary compensation for your damages. However, you must act promptly to secure your rights: two years to file suit against a private party; one year to file a Notice of Claim against the state; and six months to file a Notice of Claim against a city, town, or county.

One-Year Anniversary!

V. Meade Law, PLLC has been in business for one year today. I'm most grateful to our clients, family, and friends for your confidence and support. During this year, our clientele is increasing, we moved offices (to 1100 Exploration Way - Suite 302V - Hampton, VA), and our Office Assistant, Devan Meade, was promoted to Office Manager. Soon we will start posting opinions on various legal topics.
