A lot of times when I meet people and they ask what I do for work I'm hesitant to tell them I'm an attorney. I think the reason is because I don't think of myself as a traditional attorney.

What I mean by that is I try to not make my work and job my core identity. The industry is ripe with grinders and workaholics. But that's not me. You won't find me at work much past 5 unless I have to be and something is very pressing. You also won't get a call back on the weekend from me, it can wait until Monday. Come to find out, you also might not get an email back for 48 hours or so. That's because I'm on the clock with my other job, and my favorite job, being a husband and dad. This job is just a means to an end so I can work on my favorite job at home.

Listen, that doesn't mean I'm not going to make you a priority or I don't want your business. In fact it's quite opposite. I like to think you are helping a regular guy provide for his family and therefore it's my goal to treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve as a client. It also means you'll have an extraordinary experience compared to other attorneys. When you call you'll talk to me personally. When you make your appointment, you'll make it with me. When you come in you'll meet with me and I'll be the one who actually drafted your documents. You aren't a number in a ledger to me.

The longer I practice and the more new clients I get it does get harder to balance it all but I just wanted to say I'm thankful for you and love your referrals. I barely post on this page (because of the million other things I have going on) but I just wanted to say thanks for your support. Also I've had a mustache for 2 years now so the profile pic from 2016 had to change. Finally I'm trying to think of a reason to post some recent pics of my family for you to see so this is how I'm doing it. So enjoy, and thanks again for following along, and hope you consider me for any legal needs in the future.
