Salvatore & Morton, LLC is excited to welcome Amy A. Taylor to our team. Amy comes to us from the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Washington County, Maryland. Amy has represented criminal defendants for jury trials, bench trials, pleas, sentencings, modifications, violation of probation, restitution hearings, competency hearings and bond reviews for the last 21 years. She has represented clients facing life with and without parole in at least 25 cases and has at least 100 jury trials under her belt. Amy has also worked in private practice handling a variety of cases in general practice areas of the law, including contracts, equal opportunity and various other areas of civil litigation. Amy graduated from the College of William & Mary and received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.

John, Jason, Jen and our staff would like to thank our clients for their patience during the corona virus outbreak. As of today May 18th, we are told that the Courts will open on June 8th, however, we are not receiving any new court dates for cases that have been cancelled, either for District Court or for Circuit Court. At this time, we are only doing telephone consultations with our clients and have not opened the office to the public. If you would like to have a telephone consultation, please give us a call at 301-739-3600. We are requiring that our consultation fee be paid over the phone with a credit or debit card prior to the telephone consultation. For criminal cases, we ask that you make some arrangements to get us copies of your charging documents prior to the consultation appointment. This can be done by email to our staff or by fax at 301-797-6065. We also have a mailbox outside our front office door where documents can be dropped off. Additionally, we have signed the Maryland Strong: Back to Business Pledge which is posted below, and our office will follow all State and Local rules and guidelines as to re-opening.
