Parents, where are we trick or treating this year? 👻

Baltimore Magazine readers named Rodgers Forge, Patterson Park, Butchers Hill, and Violetville as some of the best neighborhoods in the city for it. Lots of young families, lots of decorated porches, lots of candy.

For something earlier in the day, Zoo BOO at the Maryland Zoo runs Oct 23 to 25 and Oct 30 to 31, plus a free Trunk or Treat in the zoo parking lots on Oct 23.

Quick heads up for my leaf lovers 🍁 Maryland DNR foresters say Frederick County is about to hit its biggest color change of the season over the next couple of weeks.

My pick for the best view: Thurmont. Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls State Park are right there, and the town is a perfect lunch stop. It's about an hour from Baltimore.
