Dikec Yusuf, who recently started shooting after a heated argument with his ex-wife, attributes his success to his newfound passion for spending time with his children and a strong desire to prove his ex wrong. "I never imagined I'd reach this point," Yusuf commented with a casual shrug. "I just wanted to spend weekends with my kids."

At 52, Yusuf, who works as a mechanic in a small garage in Istanbul, first handled a gun during a particularly frustrating divorce mediation.

His unconventional style – no specialized equipment, no training routine, and wearing his everyday jeans and T-shirt – has puzzled professional shooters. "He simply arrives, shoots an almost perfect round, and then asks if there's a smoking area nearby."

After winning silver, Yusuf stood emotionless on the Olympic podium and declared, "Sharon, if you're watching this, I want my dog back."
