Today was a good day.
After a long, hard-fought catastrophic workers’ compensation case, we were finally able to give this incredible woman what she’s deserved all along: security, independence, and peace of mind.
This settlement involved a lot of moving parts — securing her home, obtaining a fully accessible van, putting an electric wheelchair in her hands, and building a Special Needs Trust to protect every asset so she can keep her benefits and live her life with dignity.
My team and I handled every step — the settlement, the property, the vehicle, and the trust — because when someone comes to Cantrell Law, they get more than a lawyer. They get an umbrella of services and a team that goes the extra mile to protect their future.
Today wasn’t just about closing a case.
It was about opening a new chapter for her and her family — one where she is safe, stable, and financially independent for life.

This weekend, our team at Cantrell Law had the privilege of partnering with Windsor Forest Neighbors Feeding Neighbors (WFNFN) to give back to one of the communities closest to our hearts — Savannah.
Together, we provided 350 full Thanksgiving meals to families who needed a little extra support this year. Each family received:
🦃 A Thanksgiving turkey
🥬 Fresh greens or corn
🍞 Cornbread
🍽️ Stuffing
🧤 An oven mitt
🍪 Sugar cookie mix for a little holiday sweetness
This year’s event carried an even deeper meaning. With the recent interruption of SNAP benefits, many families were suddenly and unexpectedly left in a difficult spot. Being able to step in, shoulder-to-shoulder with WFNFN, and make sure hundreds of families still had a full holiday meal — that was special. That mattered.
Savannah is just one of the many communities we proudly serve across Georgia, and giving back isn’t something we do once a year — it’s part of who we are. When the safety net fails, community steps in. And Cantrell Law will always be part of that community.
Thank you to WFNFN and every volunteer who poured their time, energy, and heart into making Thanksgiving brighter for so many.
