SAVE THE DATE: Cornerstone will be hosting its annual Community Change Benefit Breakfast on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The event will be held at Rice Memorial Baptist Church from 6:30am to 9am.

Our featured speaker will be Release Recovery CEO Zac Clark. Release Recovery is a behavioral healthcare organization that offers support for people struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Zac also established the Release Recovery Foundation to remove financial barriers to treatment and to give people a chance at long-term sobriety.

Zac struggled with drug and alcohol addiction following surgery for a brain tumor, and he has been in long-term recovery for nearly 14 years.

Zac is also the winner of Season 16 of “The Bachelorette” TV show. He became a fan favorite for his vulnerability regarding his sobriety journey and his mission to help others. He has used the notoriety gained from the TV show to continue to advocate for mental health and substance use disorder treatment and recovery.

The goal of the benefit breakfast is to raise funds to provide family-friendly community activities, to support those persons in recovery, and to provide assistance for families impacted by addiction.

Cornerstone is grateful to have Self Regional Healthcare as our Title Sponsor.

There are also other sponsor levels, including: Champion of Recovery at $1,500, Partner in Recovery at $1,000, and Heart of Recovery at $500.

Cornerstone will also conduct a silent auction in conjunction with the breakfast and are accepting donations for auction items.
