👀 Indiana gets a little WEIRD… and I am here for it.

Forget the haunted houses with people jumping out at you. 😂 I went looking for places around Indiana that are **actually strange, spooky, creepy or just plain unusual**.

I found 7 that are absolutely worth putting on your fall road-trip list—including:

🎢 An abandoned amusement park hidden in the woods
🩺 A REAL 1890s autopsy room
🪦 A cemetery with a very creepy 100-step legend
🏚️ An Indiana town that basically disappeared
🪨 Some seriously strange natural formations
🌿 And a giant hedge labyrinth!

I also included whether each place is **kid-friendly**, when to visit, what to wear or bring, and a few pro tips before you head out.

🏡 **It’s Good Neighbor Day!** ❤️

And here in Indiana, I think we have a little extra responsibility… because we’re supposed to be known for **Hoosier Hospitality!** 😉

So here’s my question today:

**Are we showing that same Hoosier Hospitality to the people who live right next door?**

Being a good neighbor doesn’t have to mean becoming best friends or hosting the neighborhood cookout.

Sometimes it’s the little things.

👋 Wave when you see each other outside.
📦 Grab their package when they’re out of town.
🐶 Let them know their dog escaped.
❄️ Shovel a little farther down the sidewalk.
🎉 Give them a heads-up before the big backyard party.
🗑️ Pull their trash can up while they’re away.

And, for the love of Hoosier Hospitality, maybe wait a little while before starting that leaf blower on Saturday morning. 😂

🎒 New to Greenwood? Confused about which school district a home is in? You're definitely not alone!

One of the questions I get asked most often is:

"If a house has a Greenwood address, which schools will my kids attend?"

The answer...it depends! 😊

Many people are surprised to learn that the Greenwood area is served by three different public school districts:

🏫 Center Grove Schools
🏫 Greenwood Community Schools
🏫 Clark-Pleasant Schools

To make things even more interesting, Indiana also offers a process that may allow students to attend a school district outside of where they live through an approved transfer.
