I have been reflecting on yesterday’s historic 250th Independence Day and it has me thinking about what the American Dream actually means. 🇺🇸✨⁣

To me, it isn’t about a status symbol; it’s about the freedom to build a life around what truly matters.⁣
⁣
It’s the privilege of putting down roots in this beautiful Colorado community we chose. It’s the freedom to hit the open road, traveling across the country and soaking in the incredible beauty anywhere we drive. And it is the fulfillment of getting to build a business and pursue a career that truly fills my cup every single day.⁣
⁣
But more than anything, I’m deeply grateful for the health and strength to live this life actively. Getting out there, staying moving, and participating in and celebrating sports of all kinds is a gift I never want to take for granted.⁣

We will take every single raindrop we can get in Colorado right now. 💧With the droughts we are experiencing here and across the western states, we desperately need the moisture to help combat the active wildfires.
The one thing I seem to forget every single summer is that the forecast means absolutely nothing out here. That is just the thing about living in the Denver Metro area: the air off the Front Range can spark a storm almost daily, even when the radar says clear skies.
We just need more of them. Let’s hope this rain keeps coming! ☔️🌧️

These are the moments I’ll look back on...⁣
I’m constantly caught up thinking about how close she is to being a teenager. It’s a bittersweet reminder that she is still a kid for just a little while longer, and these moments are incredibly fleeting.⁣

Right now, she is my ultimate buddy (and my favorite little pest, too). We love just hanging out and being together.⁣
⁣
Father’s Day was so special this year. It’s a privilege to be her dad. I am going to be holding this chapter tightly before it moves into the next. ⁣
