Good evening! As most of you know, we practice personal injury/medical negligence law at Parham Smith & Archenhold. We do have a subsidiary firm, Blackacre Law, LLC that engages in real estate closings (residential and commercial) along with estate planning (wills/Powers of Attorney/Trusts etc).

We are looking to hire an experienced REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL with 5 years experience. Blackacre Law, LLC is a wonderful work environment. The managing attorney is Stewart James - a better lawyer and fellow, you will not meet!

The job:

Job Description/Responsibilities
·Open new file, order title work.
· Review title work, produce commitment,
· Create tax certifications, pre-closing disclosures, fee sheets, and any other requested documents for lenders
· Clear judgments, order payoffs, and other requirements of lender to clear title before closing
· Prepare seller documents, Closing Disclosures, and loan packages,
· Provide lender with funding documents for closing
· Perform any corrections required by lenders
· Print checks, disburse funds
· Mail out loan packages
· Record documents from closing
· Communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, to handle any issues with closing
· Answer phones for all questions related to your files
Requirements
Detail orientated
Organized
Bookkeeping skills
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking, proficiency in problem solving, and decision-making skills
Must be a team player, willing to help other team members
Able to work well independently or with others
Superior computer skills, using Microsoft Office Suite
Outstanding communication and writing skills
