Varner and Segura will be closed on Monday, January 26th, 2026. As of the time of this posting, Greenville County Court's are closed for Monday. If you have a Greenville County case for Monday, it will be rescheduled. If you have an appointment with our office, we will reschedule it after we reopen.

Varner and Segura is open, our power has been restored. Our phone lines and internet are still down, so we are a little hard to reach. If you call 864-271-2232 we have forwarded the number so we can answer some phone calls. Email is being checked with a Hotspot several times per day.

Varner and Segura will be closed for the next few days. Unfortunately a large tree struck our building and destroyed our power main and telephone junction boxes. It will be several days before the tree can be removed, and new electrical and phone lines can be installed. The best way to reach us at the moment is by email.

Unfortunately our phone lines are not working this morning. Windstream has no estimated time for restoration of services. When dialing in or out the message "all circuits are busy now" is all the phone will do. We are incredibly frustrated as windstream has failed multiple times over the last 3 weeks to repair the issue, and now the phones are completely down. We will update this post as soon as services are restored.

As of 2pm, phones are partially working. Fingers crossed they keep working!

If you are elderly or have a condition that increases your vulnerability to covid-19, we will arrange a time to meet with you remotely via video conferencing or at a time when the building has just been sanitized and there are the least number of other people in the building.

As a reminder, while conducting business inside our office, we must maintain a 6ft distance from one another.

This page and post will be updated if there are further emergency orders regarding operation of our business.

The South Carolina Supreme Court modified the operating condition of South Carolina Courts this past Friday. While it is not business as usual, we do now have the capability to proceed in a number of cases that were previously postponed. If you have questions, please give us a call.

Our office is open, and being regularly cleaned and disinfected multiple times per day. In an effort to help prevent the spread of covid-19 we are offering remote services. We are utilizing docusign when possible so that documents can be digitally signed without either you, or us ever having to touch a sheet of paper and help keep our clients safe at home. We are also using zoom for video conferencing. Our office is still open for in person meetings. Please bear with us as we all adapt, we are doing the best we can to continue to serve you.

Please be aware that nearly all court proceedings in South Carolina are being rescheduled to after May 1, 2020. If you have a court date scheduled before May 1, please check with our office to determine whether your case is moving forward or being rescheduled.

We appreciate your continued patronage, and we look forward to meeting your legal needs.
