John graduated from Riverside High school in Greer, South Carolina; ob
tained his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico; and obtained his law degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law. After graduating from law school, John began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Office of the Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor in Greenville County, South Carolina. As a prosecutor, John handled a wide range of cases, from DUI cases to murder cases. For the majority of his tenure as a prosecutor, John was assigned to the drug unit were he prosecuted all types of drug cases, from possession cases to trafficking cases. John was one of the specific prosecutors assigned to handle clandestine methamphetamine lab cases. In 2007, John left the Solicitor's Office to open his own law practice in Greenville, South Carolina. In his practice, John focuses on representing individuals in criminal cases and in Family Court cases.
