Congratulations to Adam J. Long, who assumed the office of president at the Annual Meeting of the Westmoreland Bar Association held on Monday, April 6, at Rizzo's Banquet Hall in Crabtree.

A partner of Long & Long in Greensburg, Adam is the third generation of Long lawyers to serve as President of the Westmoreland Bar Association. His father, Wesley T. Long, served from 1995-1996, and his grandfather, B. Earnest Long, served from 1976-1977.

Active in both the Pennsylvania and Westmoreland bar associations, Adam participates in the WBA’s Membership, Capital Campaign and Executive Director Search committees. He’s devoted to community outreach activities outside the legal community as well, serving on the Franklin Regional Panther Foundation and the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County.

Adam clerked for the Honorable Joseph Hudock of the Pennsylvania Superior Court while completing his studies at William and Mary School of Law. He earned an MBA in real estate from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class.

Adam succeeds Leo J. Ciaramitaro and will serve a one-year term as President.
