We’re partnering with a national firm to investigate cases involving AI chatbots and self-harm among minors.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently launched an inquiry into the safety of AI chatbots after reports that some underage users experienced serious mental health impacts, including self-harm, eating disorders, and psychiatric admissions after interacting with certain platforms.

We’re currently reviewing potential cases involving popular chatbots such as ChatGPT, Replika, Character.AI, Gemini, Meta AI, and others.
