WE ARE ONE!
Dear Readers: Our articles have always pertained to Real Estate, so we would like to first address the Real Estate market.
To those of you who are contemplating listing your home, we would certainly encourage you to do it. This may not be the time you will see numerous lookers or offers, but this is the perfect time as buyers are looking at your home over the internet. They have plenty of time and we have been having many inquiries. It is very important that your home is on display with professional pictures. The buyers who are searching will want to see numerous pictures. A virtual tour will be just like walking through your home and will expedite the procedure when they are ready to buy. Today they are out there eliminating what meets there needs. Price will be very important. Everyone knows what price they may need to accommodate their loan payoffs or meet satisfaction. The market is not seeing drastic reductions, however, have your Realtor do a CMA (comparable market analysis) and stay close in price to the recommended analysis. Today, if the buyer is getting a loan, an appraisal will be ordered by the lender and it is very important that your home is priced according to the other homes that were sold that are similar.
Buyers are out there looking. If they put in an offer on your home, and it is quite a bit lower than you can afford to sell it at, don’t despair. We are seeing low ball offers and more wheeling and dealing. However, if the buyer and seller are interested, we can usually get the two parties to agree on a price. If you must sell, you may have to be more generous, taking a loss today and moving on.
We have been through the 911 market, 2008 market, and feel optimistic that we will again see the Real Estate Market rebound. Be patient.
We would like to say a few words about the Covid-19 virus. I am sure that we have heard so much about it that it gets to be depressing. We feel that yes, things look bad, but we think we should look at all the good that has come out of this. Just, maybe, it was time for all of us to take a few steps back and try to reflect on the years when things weren’t so complicated. We needed time to look at our partners (some we’ve been with for years) and see what we’ve been missing for a while. They might even look pretty good. Maybe a good laugh together would help ease some pain. Enjoy our families and show them more love than we have shown for a while. Isn’t it nice to see that many of the leaders in the World now have one thing in common helping each other fight the coronavirus, not talking about nuclear power to destroy our beautiful World. How inspiring to see all the businesses and large corporations showering us with their generosity and innovation. All the healthcare workers, firefighters, policemen, etc. who are there fighting for us and forgetting about their own trials and tribulations. The economy looks gloomy, but right now there are so many companies out there hiring, and it is all to try to lend a helping hand to mankind. Just maybe, it was time that we all thought a little bit more about one another. We are all in one big boat and we all must row together. Jesus never abandoned His disciple’s when the sea got rough and He will not let us drown. BELIEVE AND PRAY! WE ARE ONE!
