Gray offers personalized consultation, civil litigation and mediation services in the area of family law, including those relating to separation, divorce, child custody, child support and the myriad of related issues important to our clients in a professional, yet personal and caring manner. Gray III is the father of three boys, the youngest of whom is now serving in the United States Marine Corps
. He is a former member of the law firm of Hill Evans Jordan & Beatty, PLLC in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law for seven years, including district court and appellate practice. Prior to receiving his law degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, he received his Political Science degree from High Point University, where he graduated summa cm laude, ranked first in his class. Before beginning his law practice, Mr. Gray owned and operated a number of businesses and was a frequent consultant to other business owners. He is a former Registered Financial Advisor and NASD securities dealer and continues to serve as a City Councilman for the city of Archdale, North Carolina, an office he has held continuously since being first elected in 1995. Gray is currently on the list of family financial mediators eligible for court appointment in numerous Judicial Districts and accepts party appointments in many others. He enjoys assisting parties in reaching amicable, negotiated resolutions through mediation and through the collaborative law process, a process by which parties may "divorce with dignity," avoiding the threat of litigation, as well as the delay, expense and acrimony related to public court actions.
