UPDATE: USCIS has extended the Comment Period for the proposed fee increases to December 30, 2019. If you still haven't filed the Application for Naturalization, you should do so before 12/30 or risk paying the higher fee.

While the Trump Administration’s proposed fee and related changes have no immediate effect and must proceed through the federal rule making process before it can be finalized; if you haven’t already done do, consider filing an application for Naturalization/US citizenship as soon as possible. It’s best to get your application filed sooner rather than later in the event the fees do increase.
