While the Trump Administration’s proposed fee and related changes have no immediate effect and must proceed through the federal rule making process before it can be finalized; if you haven’t already done do, consider filing an application for Naturalization/US citizenship as soon as possible. It’s best to get your application filed sooner rather than later in the event the fees do increase.

"...the proclamation will require immigrants to prove they will either obtain health insurance within 30 days of entering the country or prove they are able to cover "reasonably foreseeable" medical costs. Those who do not meet the requirement will be denied visas. Immigrants will also be denied a visa if they use the Affordable Care Act's subsidies to obtain insurance."

President Donald Trump issued a proclamation that will deny visas to immigrants who cannot prove they will get health insurance.
