🏡 20 THINGS TO REMOVE IF YOUR HOME STRESSES YOU OUT

Listen... sometimes your house does NOT need a full makeover. You might just have too much stuff staring back at you. 😂

If you walk in the door and immediately feel like, “Ughhh... 😩” it might be time to get rid of some of the visual noise.

Start here 👇🏾

1. Knife blocks taking up counter space
2. Family photos facing your bed
3. Mirrors reflecting your bed
4. Medicine bottles sitting out
5. Laundry baskets that are ALWAYS visible 😭
6. Old calendars still hanging up
7. Exercise equipment taking over the bedroom
8. Work papers beside your bed
9. Dusty artificial flowers
10. Drying racks permanently left out
11. Reusable bags piled by the door
12. Dead flowers still sitting in vases 🥀
13. Trash cans you can see as soon as you walk in

🚨📣7 homebuying rules I tell my clients.
And yes... I need you to actually follow them. 😂

1️⃣ Don’t shop based on what the lender says you can spend. Shop based on the payment that feels comfortable for your life.
2️⃣ Get pre-approved before you fall in love with a house. Looking at the wrong price range will have you disappointed QUICK.
3️⃣ Once you’re under contract, leave your credit ALONE. No new car. No furniture financing. No random credit cards. NO NEW TVs yet
4️⃣ Look at the whole deal, not just the price. Seller credits, closing costs, rate options and repairs can matter just as much.
5️⃣ Buy when the payment works for you TODAY. A future refinance can be a bonus, but don’t build your budget around one.
6️⃣ Please don’t spend every dollar getting into the house. You still need money after closing because houses have a funny way of needing something. 😂
7️⃣ Run the numbers before you let the house run your emotions. Loving the house is great. Being able to comfortably afford it is better.
