Did you know that there are federal laws that regulate which breaks must be paid and which breaks can be unpaid? Did you know that in North Carolina unless an employee is a youth worker or a nursing mother (and maybe a few other exceptions) an employer isn't required to provide breaks throughout the day, not even a lunch break?
