This week is National Estate Planning Awareness Week, and I, for one, am always up for the task of educating people about the importance of estate planning. Last night, we had the honor of attending the Community Choice Awards Gala for the 2025 Best of the Bay Finalists. To say we were honored to find ourselves voted in as one of the top three law firms in Green Bay would be an understatement- especially considering the other two finalists were firms with 15+ attorneys!

I founded DeLeers Legal in 2015 with the belief that we could do legal differently. I didn't want my clients to feel intimidated to come into the office- I wanted them to feel comfortable, supported, and empowered from their very first interaction with our firm. I also wanted my clients to walk away with more than just a stack of legal documents. I wanted them to confidently walk out of our office with peace of mind.

Throughout the years, we've been blessed to cultivate genuine relationships with our clients rooted in trust, integrity and respect. While I can certainly take some credit for leading the helm, I wouldn't be able to serve at the level that I do without an amazing team standing by my side and living into our mission every day.

We are beyond thrilled to share that our legal assistant, Kaylee Court, has earned a much deserved promotion to paralegal! Kaylee joined DeLeers Legal in May of 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management but was open to learning the ins and outs of the legal practice. Kaylee took the initiative and dove right in, only to discover that she really enjoyed the legal field. In an effort to deepen her knowledge, Kaylee began her paralegal studies at NWTC and completed the program at the end of December. She also obtained her notary stamp at the end of 2024. Congratulations Kaylee! We are so proud of you and are thrilled to have you on the team!

As we usher in a new year, you're going to see some new things happening at DeLeers Legal!

To start, our team will be shifting to 4 day work weeks in 2025. We'll be in office during normal business hours Monday through Thursday, and out of office on Fridays. In large part, this change is inspired by one of our core values- delivering peace of mind. In order for our team to deliver that peace of mind to our clients, it starts with us. When our personal batteries are fully charged, we have the time, attention and energy to fully pour into our clients.

We've also been working behind the scenes on some exciting changes that will be rolling out in 2025. In June, DeLeers Legal will be celebrating 10 years in business, and to recognize all of the things that have changed since we hung that shingle, we're updating our look, our name and our offerings. We can't wait to share more and showcase both our evolution and our return home.

We have been so blessed by your support in 2024 and look forward to continue delivering exceptional service to our clients in 2025! Cheers!

At DeLeers Legal, LLC, we love supporting organizations that do so much to give back in our communities...particularly when the cause feels aligned. On Friday, we did just that when we had the privilege of both sponsoring and attending the We EmpowHER Spread Your Wings Gala in Fond du Lac.

We EmpowHER supports women from all walks of life with empowered programming so that the participants have a place to feel seen, heard, and valued...without judgment. This could be by helping someone build their resume and find gainful employment or by mentoring them through some of life's most difficult challenges. Hardship doesn't just target certain women- it can affect every woman, regardless of her family structure, background, income or job title, and We EmpowHER provides each of them a lifeline.

The event was both magical and inspiring, both because of the cause and the company! We are proud supporters of We EmpowHER and enjoyed taking some time out of our regularly scheduled work programming to enjoy an evening away!
