Please be advised that the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has released a revised version of Form TP-584 (Combined Real Estate Transfer Tax Return), which will be mandatory for all applicable conveyances dated on or after March 1, 2026. The revised form implements enhanced disclosure requirements for certain residential transactions involving limited liability companies.

Summary of Changes

1. Expanded LLC Disclosure Requirements

For the conveyance of one-to-four family residential property, where either the grantor or the grantee is a limited liability company (LLC), the form now requires disclosure of:

The names of all members, managers, and authorized persons of the LLC; and
The business address of each such individual.

2. New Addendum Requirement

The updated TP-584 includes a dedicated addendum for reporting the required LLC ownership and management information. This addendum must be completed and submitted with the transfer tax return where applicable.

3. Scope of Application

These disclosure requirements apply solely to transfers of 1–4 family residential real property where an LLC is a party to the transaction.

Get adventurous!

Adventures in Learning launched over 50 years ago in Manhasset was designed to bridge educational gaps for families and students couldn’t easily afford private tutoring or after-school enrichment. What started as a grassroots volunteer effort has evolved into a multi-site nonprofit, serving hundreds of students every year. Due to the prevalence of dual-income or single-parent households working long hours outside the home, and/or those dealing with language barriers, children in our district needed a safe and consistent place to learn and feel seen. With this program, every Great Neck child can experience the joy of learning, no matter their household’s circumstances. Here, members of the Great Neck Advisory Board- Paige, Tamra, Joanna, Melissa.
