The theme for Grayson Memory Days this year is “Growing Home”. To grow , you must start out with a firm, rock solid foundation. Bill Scott started his barber shop in Grayson, Kentucky in 1948. He instilled in his children, Jennifer and Jeffrey the value of hard work. From watching their father in that little barber shop, to Jeffrey opening his law firm here in Grayson, Jeffrey and Jennifer have enjoyed success in their hometown of Grayson based on the solid rock foundation laid by their father, Bill Scott and Bill’s Barber Shop that was in Grayson for 50 years.

With the recent changes in DUI law, we have been getting lots of questions about the Ignition Interlock Device Process, so we have put together a Step by Step Process and answer to some frequently asked questions directly from the Department of Transportation.

IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE PROCESS STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FROM BRANDON M. MUSIC of W. JEFFREY SCOTT, P.SC.
STEP 1:
The Court will report the conviction or suspension to KYTC. Note: This can take a couple of days. A letter of Withdrawal or Suspension will be sent.

Either E-mail [email protected] or Fax (844-535-7209) the following information:

• Ignition Interlock Application (TC94-175)

• Proof of a valid Kentucky vehicle registration (out of state drivers will need to provide valid registration from their state)
o Note; If registration is NOT in the driver's name, a notarized letter is required from the owner giving permission to install the device in their vehicle. This statement must include the description of the vehicle as well as the VIN #.
• Proof of Kentucky insurance (out of state drivers will need to provide proof of insurance from their state)

• Any other documentation required for the forms to be submitted

OR Go to a Driver Licensing Regional Office to submit your application with the above forms.

A $40.00 Reinstatement fee is required and can be paid at a Driver Licensing Regional Office.
