These folks had to move fast. They packed up their cars and were gone. 👋🏃‍♀️🏃

They moved to Texas and were not coming back. The only option was to sell - fast. 💔🤷‍♀️

When they called me they said they just wanted to sell the house "as is". They couldn't deal with it, at all. 👌

There was no way in good conscious, I could let them do that. There was too much money to lose. 🫣

So, I came up with a plan. 📋🤔

I told them to give me a month and less than 20K and I will make sure they make atleast an extra 100K. ⏳➕💲🟰🔝💲

This property is a dream realized. 🥂

45 years ago, this was just a raw piece of land sitting on top of a hill. 🗻

This big ol’ house raised 5 rambunctious kids. 👱🏼‍♀️👱🏼‍♀️👱🏼‍♀️👱🏻👱🏼‍♀️

When I was in 8th grade I met my best friend while playing a basketball game. We boxed each other out and pushed each other around and that's the moment we knew we belonged to each other.

Over the next 30 years, we did what BFF's do. We grew up together, raised kids (still doing that btw), had sleepovers and our families became each others family. Most importantly we built un unbreakable bond. We will always be there for each other no matter what.

It's bittersweet that today, I put her childhood home on the market.

A place where I walked through the doors like it was my home. Where I swam in the pool and house sit. The place where we would have sleepovers but do anything but sleep. Mostly talking through the night about things teenage girls talk about.

This property is special in a lot of different ways. Not only for the memories and love it holds, but for how it has been cared for. Her parents have been wonderful stewards of this land and are now ready to hand it over to somebody new.

They have not only raised 5 children here, but many cattle, hogs, horses, you name it. It survived (narrowly) the 49er fire, as a result, there are many fire protection systems in place. They once had a retired firetruck we got to ride around the block in.

I hope to find the next person who is as excited to take over this property as they were back in 1975, when it was only a patch of dirt.

(It's also super important because my BFF lives next door and really needs an amazing neighbor!)
