Sometimes getting to the closing table takes a few extra twists and turns, but that just makes handing over those keys a little sweeter.

A short time ago, this summer I received a call. The voice said, 💬"Hi Eryn. Are you a realtor who specifically helps veterans?" They were ready! VA pre-approval in hand and excited to find the new place to call home ...and before we knew it, we were under contract for their literal 🏡dream home🥀🌷

But getting the house was only part of the win. I was able to negotiate $50,000 off the price AND get more than $10,000 in seller concessions for my buyers. Those numbers I'm incredibly proud of, but they aren't what made this one of my favorite transactions.

Sure, the house is SO COOL. But the best part of this business has always been the people for me.

Sometimes a phone call from a stranger turns into weeks of house hunting, negotiations, problem solving, laughing, celebrating... and somewhere along the way, they stop feeling like clients and start feeling like people you're genuinely grateful came into your life. There's no commission, closing or sales number that compares. Helping a veteran use the benefits they earned to land a home they absolutely love - and gaining some pretty wonderful people in my life along the way? That is far more valuable to me.
